What’s your advice for residents who are beginning their job search?
My physician job search advice is to use online resources such as PracticeLink and utilize physician recruiters who are knowledgeable about opportunities in their specific geographic area.
What was the most important factor in your search for a new job?
A stable work environment with minimal staff turnover (both physicians and ancillary staff).

The job opportunity was posted on PracticeLink. PracticeLink allowed me to connect directly with the physician recruiter for the position I was interested in.

Any other advice?
The process of interviewing and evaluating a job opportunity takes much longer than one would typically anticipate. So begin a job search early. •
